Music, FREE for Download, Satellite Beats 2005-2008

I’ve decided to present to you all of my music as Satellite Beats (well, not all of it. I’ve used other names before, and if I did release absolutely everything, there would be a lot of shit, haha). This includes a 6 track album of Demos, the remix Ep, Satellite Remixes, and a 12 song Mix of music that I have made between 2005 and 2008 (Also a remix track that I felt didn’t belong on the Ep). This is the music that I am the most proud of. Most of it is me, except where noted: Demos Track 2: Guitar Track 3: Drums Remixes (They’re remixes, duh.) Mix Track 3: Guitar Track 4: Vocals, Drums, Synth Track 8: Guitar Besides this, I have used samples and various music programs and software instruments to help me make the music that I am giving to you today.  I hope you enjoy this as much as I have enjoyed making this music over the years. A lot of my music tends to be pretty dark, and I guess that’s just my creative output. Some of my influences for this music vary: Psychedelic, dub, techno, electronica, industrial, etc., but there’s definitely a good mix in there. Enjoy! http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HIAHA2M2 http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?0wmoct2umig You can check out my page on facebook for other related news on new recordings, covers, remixes, and whatnot at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Satellite-Beats/44541212810?ref=s

For Those of You That Are Interested (NIN Remix Ep)

Over the last few years, I have made a few remixes I would like to share, specifically NIN remixes. Since their album, Year Zero came out, they had released the multitracks of every song on the album, and I decided it would be fun to create my own renditions of several of the songs. Overall, I have a bunch of unfinished projects (happens a lot :/), but there are five ones that I have finished that I am very pleased with. I decided I should share this with anyone I could, since I know someone out there will appreciate this. My favorite ones are tracks 1,2 and 4. For track 1, I remixed most of the song, but included sounds heard in other parts of Year Zero. Track 2 is the only one of the five that sounds the most like the original. I basically followed the same structure as the original, but inserted lots of little pieces that really enhance the song. I extended it in the beginning, between the two verses and at the end as well. Track 3 is slower and more haunting. You can barely hear the strings in the original, and I really wanted to bring that out for the remix. Track 4 is all over the place, and wild as hell! It's probably the loudest of them all, or at least tied up with track 2. Track 5 is the last but not least. This one is more guitar and piano driven than the original, which was more distorted. Overall, I have to say that I'm pleased with the result of the mixes. I hope you are too! http://www.filefactory.com/file/ag78bda/n/Satellite_Remixes_zip http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?0wmoct2umig http://www.megaupload.com/?d=SABR9V54
