My creative writing has always been a passion of mine. I loved the craft of writing for the visions of the imagination that it evokes. I particularly love the visceral and most affecting written works. I’d like to announce my very first spoken word single, Poetry in Motion!
This is my first ever project marrying my love for creative writing, poetry, and my passion for music. This is by far the best poem that I have ever written, and it’s a narrative strung together from over a hundred song and album references from famous artists that we all know and love. What better way to present it than spoken word with original music? Below is the list of all intentional song and album mentions. Any additional references are purely incidental.

This spoken word piece is divided into 3 distinct thematic movements, those of which have been separated neatly by sections of music. The story goes: first is the state of affairs in the world we live in, the never ending spiral, and descent of our society and our people, second is the worldly and divine love that shines through it all, and thirdly, the call to all to fulfill their life’s purpose and destiny in the vast universe that surrounds us.
